Out of more than 200 students involved with research this summer, 33 are conducting projects under the auspices of the Upstate Institute.

º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù has announced a new interdisciplinary minor, global public and environmental health (GPEH), as part of its academic curriculum, beginning in the fall 2021 semester.

º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù junior Candido Martinez will be part of the inaugural cohort of students selected from around the country to participate in an Expanding Diversity in Economics Summer Institute, hosted by the Becker Friedman Institute for Economics (BFI) at the University of Chicago.

A total of 17,540 students, from 50 states and 146 countries, applied for admission to the º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù Class of 2025, and 913 enrolled in the class, which has an average GPA of 3.77 out of 4.0, up from 3.69 in 2020.

Members of the º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù classes of 2022–25 will now benefit from an additional expansion of the University’s no-loan initiative under the º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù Commitment.

Ahmet Çeli̇k, PhD candidate and instructor in religion and Middle Eastern studies at Syracuse University, has been appointed as the first campus imam and Muslim student adviser at º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù.
