The Academic Quad is an area for lots of outdoor activity, whether it is sunny or snowing. You will see everything from professors holding class outside to some happy first-year students building snowmen after a fresh snowfall.

The facility is the home of the º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù men's and women's ice hockey teams. Men's and women's lacrosse and soccer teams also have locker rooms inside the arena.

Utica Street Construction

A new four-story, mixed-use building, designed by Maurice Walters, will replace the existing 18–22 Utica Street buildings in the Village of Hamilton. Demolition is slated to begin in late February, followed by an estimated 21 months of construction. Exterior plans include a brick facade and design elements to match and enhance the historic character of downtown Hamilton.
