On Feb. 12, ���߲��о��� celebrated the opening of the Clifford Gallery’s new exhibition from Franco-American artist Suzanne Husky, titled For Alliances with the Beaver People. The exhibition features a singular physical work: an 11-meter-long embroidered tapestry that traces key moments in beaver-human relationships.

This spring, the Longyear Museum of Anthropology is showcasing the student-curated exhibition Unraveled: Labor and Meaning Behind Weaving. Created by 10 students in the fall 2024 MUSE 300: Museum Curating class, the exhibition brings together an incredible range of textiles, baskets, and fiber art from around the world, showcasing the craftsmanship, beauty, and cultural significance of woven works.

Reverberations, the 2025 Senior Art Exhibition at ���߲��о���’s Clifford Art Gallery, showcases the work of ���߲��о���’s graduating studio art and art history majors, developed as part of their senior capstone courses in the fall.

���߲��о���’s 17th annual celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Week, Jan. 23–Feb. 1, kicked off with a keynote address by Wanjiku “Wawa” Gatheru, a Rhodes Scholar and environmental justice activist.

Jan. 10–13, ���߲��о��� students embraced an opportunity to connect, recharge, and explore spirituality in the serene setting of Silver Bay, N.Y., during a retreat organized by the Office of the Chaplains and hosted at the Silver Bay YMCA.

On Oct. 28, ���߲��о���’s Keck Center for Language Study was standing room only as students and faculty gathered for the “Double Your World” and “Cake Night” mixer, an event designed to encourage students to explore the connections between language studies and other academic fields.

On Nov. 1, ���߲��о��� held the inaugural Commons Cup Trivia Championship in the Edge Cafe, bringing together students from all four Residential Commons for a lively evening of intellectual rivalry and friendly competition.

���߲��о��� Assistant Professor of Music Sinhaeng Lee has quickly established himself as a rising star in the world of choral conducting.

Sep. 27–28, ���߲��о��� hosted the biannual Michael J. Wolk ’60, MD, Conference on Medical Education, sponsored by the Michael Wolk Heart Foundation and organized by ���߲��о���’s Health Sciences Advising Office and Career Services.

���߲��о��� has been ranked fourth among baccalaureate institutions in the 2024 Sustainable Campus Index, retaining its gold status through AASHE’s STARS program.
